These are my picks out of a thousand or so photos that I took in Hatyai back in early 2011. I was there solely for the purpose of witnessing Songkran Festival – a new year celebration according to Thailand’s calendar, from April 13 to 15 every year. Enjoy the photos 
Last week I took a day off from my usual daily routine, picked up my film cameras, and ‘voila!’, found myself at the fishermen’s village in Pulau Ketam (literally Crab Island). Here’s some photos shot with a roll of expired Kodak Gold 200 (film scratches come from lousy lab developer).
