Assalamualaikum & hello! Finally.. an update! Here is a collection of some tourist-y photos that I managed to take during my short vacation to Siem Reap with two of my photographer friends last month. This trip reminded me of how much fun traveling is (despite that I was down with food poisoning towards the end of the trip but that’s another story). Also, I decided to travel light this time so I only took my old and trusty Canon 5D (mark I) with my Tamron 17-35mm and Canon 45mm TS-E lenses, but ended up using only the TS-E most of the time.
Most of our time there were spent in Angkor Wat and its surrounding temples, including Angkor Thom and the famous Ta Phrom (where Lara Croft went tomb raiding). And we also managed to see water dwellers on the Tonle Sap river (there were floating school, floating market, etc.). Cambodia is a country with many histories and I’m already planning to go there again to learn more about them.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos!
